Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is an anime that at first, I found quite simple, and made for children only. Perhaps what influenced me to think that was its graphics. But as it progressed, I found it quite enjoyable to watch, especially after the "seven years" gap on the other half of the series, that is, after episode 14 or 15 (I forgot which one exactly).It's the story of a series of battles: to regain the right of humans to live in the surface and be free from the clutch of Beastmen; to fight against the anti-Spirals who seek to destroy the Planet and all who possess the will of Spirals (any creature with DNA), and to destroy the anti-Spirals.
