Hellsing
This anime is COOL. This is about the Hellsing Institution and their local vampire Alucard, (Dracula in reverse). This anime simply gives me goosebumps everytime Alucard rises from a pretty torn up shape. You could chop his body in bullets, cut his head, pierce him with sacred blades, but he's simply INVINCIBLE. He is a Class A vampire with really cool powers. Yes, COOL is the word. Enemies can tear him to pieces, but no matter what they do, he just won't be defeated. He can rise back from the dead, and destroy anyone who stands in his way.
One Piece: An Anime with a Heart
When I first looked at the graphics and the way the characters are drawn, I thought to myself, I drew stuff like this when I was 12. I had the first impression that this was one of those animes that won't really leave a lasting impression on me.
How wrong I was.
By the end of the first episode, I had a BIG WIDE SMILE on my face, and I told myself, this is good. I consumed one episode upon another. This is one anime that I would want my future children to watch and learn from. Yes, LEARN from.
This is an anime that has made me laugh, and made me cry, both at their extremes. It can be totally hilarious, but at times, but it can also be very deep and touching.
Why One Piece is so enjoyable
The characters are well balanced, and each of them has very unique traits that set them apart from each other. Each of them has their own dreams, their own pain, and their own inner struggles. Yet despite their differences, they are tied by the strong bond of being nakama, which means something like a friend, or companion, but something much much deeper.
Luffy the Gomu Gomu (Devil's Fruit) User, the captain of the pirate ship Going Merry, is someone who rushes into a situation without a plan. If there is a plan, most probably he won't be able to follow it anyway--he doesn't use his mind to think. He acts based on his guts. His dream is to become the Pirate King!
Zoro the PirateHunter. He carries three katanas (swords). His dream is to become the greatest swordsman in the world.
Nami the Navigator. Nami started off as a thief stealing gold from other pirates. She has a deep reason for doing so, which is only disclosed far into the later episodes. She hates pirates, but decided to join Luffy's crew for her own 'selfish' reasons. Her battle skills are normal, however she gets stronger through the help of Ussopp's invention: the Clima Tact. Her dream is to completely map the world.
Ussopp the Liar. Well, Ussopp the Inventor. Hehe. But Ussopp is actually a pun for the word lie in japanese. Ussopp is the boy who cried wolf. Since the day his mother was sick, he would cry out to his village that pirates are coming, since his father is a pirate. Compared to the battle strengths of Luffy and Zoro, his skills are pretty normal. He's usually the first to freak out from a threat. In the much later parts of the episode, he invents weapons for use by Nami.
Sanji the Cook. His battle style is using his feet. He is an apprentice of a very fierce pirate. And he cooks good. His goal is to find ALL BLUE, the sea where all the fish in the world meet, and where he can get those fish and cook them yumm yumm.
Chopper. Chopper is also a Devil's Fruit user. He transforms from a little reindeer, to a big gorilla, to a large hair ball, to a fast reindeer, to a powerful horn deer, and to a gigantic, destructive monster. He's the ship's doctor. Next to Ussopp, he also freaks out at danger.

Anime TV Series - 13 episodes
This is one of those animes that will forever hold a place in my heart. Whenever I recall this anime, I feel a certain ache.
This anime starts off lite, cute, and fun. The scenes and episodes just pass without you being aware of the time. But this anime has a deeper, more serious side to it.
The girl suffers from a curse that runs in her family. It is the curse of the winged people. She carries the memories of a past persona, of a winged woman who suffered gravely. Every time she dreams, she goes forward in living that memory. She experiences the pain experienced by the winged woman. The time will come that in that dream, the woman will die, and so will the girl.
Air Movie (OVA)
Air also has a movie, which focuses more on the events several decades ago regarding the winged girl and her friends.
